2 patties (1 package) Beyond Burger
2 burger buns
2 slices provolone cheese
4 tbsp. water
2 package Gold Leaf Sheets
1-2 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1-2 cloves minced garlic
½ cup thin sliced yellow onion
1 cup shredded green cabbage
2 cup deveined kale
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
With a wet brush gently apply a thin layer of water to the burger buns. Apply gold leaf. Set aside.
In a medium-sized skillet, over medium heat, warm oil. Add garlic, onions and cook for a minute until golden and translucent. Add cabbage, kale and cook for a few more minutes until tender and bright green. Season to taste. Set aside.
In a medium-sized skillet cook the Beyond Burger for four minutes. Flip. Add provolone cheese. Cook another 4 minutes. Pro tip: To quickly melt cheese, place stainless steel bowl over the burger.
Time to plate! Place kale on the bottom bun, add the burger. On top of the burger, add a layer of cabbage mixture followed by kale. Top with the golden bun.
