Amanda has been in a serious, long-term relationship with plants. After a serious allergic reaction to shellfish, she gave up on her culinary career and went into the business world, and has since made her way into technology, now working for one of the worlds largest private software companies. Somewhere in this big mess of a world, she found her light and love within veganism and started her blog - where she does her best to share her love with the world.

She is also an amateur photographer, sci-fi nerd, hula-hooper, fitness junkie, sandwich expert and cat cuddler extraordinaire. When she's not in the kitchen, you can find her spinning underground hip-hop, drinking craft beer, watching all the sports, enjoying a good beard, praying to the burrito gods, and generally enjoying the rainy glory of the Pacific Northwest in Portland, OR.
