BEYOND MEAT INTRODUCES LATEST VERSION OF THE BEYOND BURGER IN CANADIAN GROCERY STORES

July 22, 2020

Fire up the grills, Canada, because the latest version of the iconic Beyond Burger is coming your way. The 100% plant-based burger is even more juicy and delicious AND has 35% less saturated fat than a traditional beef burger.

Also exciting, this Beyond Burger is locally produced at a co-manufacturing facility in Canada, showcasing Beyond Meat’s commitment to serving its global markets and reducing the company’s environmental footprint. Made with simple, plant-based ingredients like peas, mung beans and rice, the Beyond Burger features 20g of protein and marbling made from cocoa butter designed to melt and tenderize like beef. Is your mouth watering yet?

“We look forward to providing the Canadian consumer with our latest burger iteration and to furthering our commitment to this important market by investing in local production. Our process of rapid and relentless innovation in service of the consumer, and making investments in the markets we serve, are key pillars in our company’s strategy to provide delicious and nutritious plant-based protein with a lower environmental footprint,” said Ethan Brown, Founder and CEO of Beyond Meat.

Head to the fresh meat counter of your local grocery store to buy the Beyond Burger -- and look for the green circle on the package with a 35% less sat fat call out to know it’s the new one!
