BEYOND® SMASHABLE BURGER NAMED 2024 FABI AWARD RECIPIENT FOR BEST NEW PRODUCT INNOVATION

El Segundo, Calif. March 22, 2024 - Beyond Meat (NASDAQ: BYND), a leader in plant-based meat, has been awarded a 2024 FABI Award (Food and Beverage Awards) from the National Restaurant Association for breaking new ground in creativity and taste with the Beyond® Smashable Burger. 

Smash-style burgers have been taking over headlines and social media feeds, and with plant-based burgers being the fastest-growing term on menus over the last four years (+1,150%), the Beyond Smashable Burger was developed specifically for the U.S. Foodservice channel to serve this growing trend. The 2.5oz patties come ready to smash, and cook in just three minutes offering operators a customizable experience and the ability to menu a patty with a juicy, tender center and crispy, caramelized exterior that their guests will love. The Beyond Smashable Burger packs 13g of plant-based protein (per patty), with 35% less saturated fat2 and no cholesterol, no GMOs, no soy, and no added antibiotics or hormones.
