In case you missed it, the #BeyondBurger recently marched into the nation's capital, quickly winning the popular vote! It sold out the first day, moving faster than we could keep it stocked despite heavy reinforcements.

DC is the second location where we're selling The Beyond Burger, following its introduction in Boulder in May. Many expected this new Breed of Burger to do well in Boulder, a place that is not new to embracing plant-based products. But to see The Beyond Burger doing so well in DC, a bustling metropolis with diverse consumer tastes is a real thrill, as it's indicative of its broad appeal.

Like the Boulder location, The Beyond Burger is shelved in the meat department, where it's captivating unsuspecting carnivores. But we're happy to report that the DC store is also stocking The Beyond Burger in the meat-alternatives aisle, where plant-based devotees are more likely to find it.
