The Economist "Fast Forward Food" Truck returns to NYC
June 5, 2019
Over the past two summers, the Beyond Burger has been a part of The Economist’s “Fast Forward Food” truck - an extension of their global #ASustainableFuture campaign. For the next two weeks, an Economist-branded food cart will take the streets of New York City (see the stops below) offering free Beyond Sausage for consumers to enjoy (along with warmer weather)!
A Sustainable Future campaign aims to educate people as they discover radical alternatives for a sustainable future of food.
How exactly do they do this?
The Economist has created a series of experiential activations, which seek to challenge consumers to stop and think about the world around them.
With our partnership, The Economist aims to highlight the alternative protein market and encourage people to step out of their comfort zone and consider the realities of providing protein for a swelling global population. Beyond Sausage, which offers 16g of plant-based protein, no cholesterol, no-soy, and no-GMOs, is changing how consumers think about the future of protein. Along with free tasty Beyond Sausage, the pop-up will offer some 'food for thought' on the issues surrounding livestock agriculture.
Beyond Meat is thrilled to team up with The Economist, a brand that is also an advocate for change, to share Beyond Sausage as a delicious means to bring their content to life. If you happen to see this cart in NYC, be sure to grab a free Beyond Sausage, snap a pic and join the conversation - #BeyondSausage #ASustainableFuture!
