The 4^th Annual James Beard Foundation Blended Burger Project is back and the #BeyondBurger is featured yet again! This annual challenge aims to build awareness for healthier, more sustainable burgers. Top chefs in America are invited to create their tastiest burger with at least 25% of the patty comprised of mushrooms, i.e. "The Blend." The challenge aims to build awareness for healthier, more sustainable burgers.

Modern Times entered The Bulgogi Burger, a grilled Beyond Burger & shitake mushroom patty glazed in spicy soy, kimchi relish, smoked mushroom, charred scallion & cabbage slaw, pickled daikon, a dollop of gochujang ketchup between two soft porcini-sesame buns. This entirely plant-based build is prepared to stand up against its competing meat counterparts and since winners are chosen by social media votes…. lets help make it happen by voting for Modern Times here!
