Vote for the Beyond Burger in Nationwide James Beard Burger Contest!

The Blended Burger Project is back and better than ever.

Help show the Beyond Burger some love by voting for Chef Johan Everstijn's contest entry in the 2017 Blended Burger Project! This event began in 2015 by the James Beard Foundation, with a mission to make burgers better for you and more sustainable for the planet. Over 300 chefs across the country, are taking the challenge to create the best burger with at least 25 percent of its meat substituted for mushrooms.

We are beyond honored that Chef Everstijn chose to use our Beyond Burger for his submission. His entirely vegan build is prepared to stand up against its competing meat counterparts, made with a mushroom & garlic-packed Beyond Burger patty, arugula, crispy onions, vegan smoked Gouda, and eggplant bacon-tomato jam.

Winners are decided by social media votes, so be sure to support Chef Everstijn's delicious creation by submitting your vote here!

This special Beyond Burger build will also be available at Chef Everstijn's vegan restaurant The Cider Press Cafe until July 31st, so please feel free to stop by and give it a try if you're in the St. Petersburg area!
