Beyond Meat Launches New Breakfast Sausage at A&W Canada

Canada, say hello to the Beyond Meat Sausage & Egger®, A&W's newest addition to its breakfast menu. The Beyond Meat Sausage & Egger® is made with one of our latest breakthrough products: Beyond Breakfast Sausage™. This newest creation follows the success of A&W’s Beyond Burger and is the perfect breakfast option for vegetarians and flexitarians alike.
As the first restaurant chain to offer Beyond Breakfast Sausage, A&W is confident it’s a menu necessity. “We recognize Canadians are increasingly interested in including more plant-based proteins in their diets,” says Susan Senecal, A&W Canada’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Adding a plant-based protein option to our breakfast menu is the kind of innovation that we love. Just like our Beyond Meat Burger – this new breakfast sausage is packed with flavor and it’s hard to believe it’s made from plants. It’s delicious,” Senecal added.

CHANGE IS GOOD!! This morning @AWCanada made yet another exciting announcement: on March 11th, they’ll be launching a new breakfast sandwich made with the amazing @beyondmeat sausage!!! I am blown away by A&W’s innovative spirit. This new sausage patty was created by Beyond Meat just for them and isn’t yet available anywhere else in the world (see lots of vids from the launch in stories). The sausage is part of the new Beyond Meat Sausage & Egger. And, get this... rather than having to make modifications, @awcanada will be offering a fully plant-based breakfast sandwhich option on their menu called the Beyond Meat Sausage & Veggie It makes me so happy to picture Canadians from Merrit to Moncton being able to access delicious plant-based options!!!! Beyond Breakfast Sausage patties will satisfy the heartiest of appetites with 12g of plant-based protein per serving. To perfectly match the classic breakfast sausage, we created a blend of pea, mung bean, rice and sunflower proteins, seasoned with notes of sage and black pepper. Just like every Beyond Meat product, the Beyond Breakfast Sausage is free of gluten, soy, and GMOs.
