Despite summer coming to a close, we are still bringing the heat with exciting new updates. Get ready everyone because The Beyond Burger is about to take over one of the nation’s most iconic family-friendly restaurants, TGI Fridays!
With more than 470 restaurants nationwide, this will mark the largest restaurant brand to partner with us yet! Ending Oct. 17th, TGI Fridays carried a slightly larger 6 oz Beyond Burger for heartier appetites as part of their Burger Bar menu at six TGI Friday locations in the greater Boston area:
In addition to this new menu item, TGI Fridays gave their guests the option to substitute The Beyond Burger patty for any of their existing burger offerings as a means to appeal to more health-conscious eaters.
“Fridays is constantly innovating to appeal to an array of tastes and lifestyles, which includes offering more options for vegetarians and meat-lovers alike,” said Stephanie Perdue, TGI Fridays chief marketing officer. “We tested many concepts and The Beyond Burger was far and away the favorite plant-based burger among both our guests and chefs, making it the ideal addition to our popular Burger Bar.”
TGI Friday’s founding premise is to bring people together to socialize and celebrate the freeing and liberating spirit of “Friday” and we are thrilled that they see The Beyond Burger as a way to help achieve this. The initial launch was only at those six locations, with the opportunity to expand to all TGI Fridays locations in early 2018.
