1 package Beyond Beef®
1 med onion chopped
2 tablespoons of seasoning salt
3 tablespoons of chili powder
1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 cans of tomato sauce
2 cans of kidney beans, drained
2 tablespoons of light brown sugar
Start by preparing and chopping your vegetables.
Heat a large pot over medium heat. Once hot add the Beyond Beef, onions, season salt, chili powder and cayenne.
Cook, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon for 7-8 minutes.
Add 2 cups of water, tomato sauce and brown sugar to the pot and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until the liquid reduces slightly about 30 minutes.
Serve with your favorite chili toppings and enjoy!
